Each image consist of seven auto exposure bracket photo's from -3EV to +3EV @ a 1EV spacing using a Nikon D300 and a Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens shooting 6 frames per second handheld. This produces a dynamic range of 14EV compared to a single image of 6EV, resulting in recovered detail in the highlights and shadows of each scene. Each set of bracket images were captured using aperture priority, iso 200 to 1000, using raw file format, then process through Photomatix and tone mapped to generate a single 16-bit tiff image. Final adjustment and conversion to jpeg using Capture NX.
